My email is jcote75@hotmail.com In case Curtis240Z doesn't have a scanner, and a few hours to spend scanning pages - - -Scanned copies usually run about $45.00 to $95.00 on E-Bay, depending on what years they were published. But then, if you list them on E-Bay... usually someone will let you know what the BSR Part numbers are... FWIW, Carl B.

Carl Beck Posted October 13, 2008 Share #7 Posted October 13, 2008 Bob Sharp was a Datsun Dealer - and many of the parts you have listed are Nissan Part Numbers. Usually the 99996 prefix indicates aftermarket parts that the Datsun/Nissan Competition Parts Department supplied through their local dealers, to customers.I think you need to see the Datsun/Nissan Competition Parts Catalogs. As I recall, BSR special parts had parts numbers that began with BSR-FWIW,Carl B.

Some only have descriptions (it was simplier back in the '70s). Out of the five BS catalogs I have the above information is the only other item that wasn't already found for you. Mr Camouflage Posted October 14, 2008 Share #10 Posted October 14, 2008 Nope thats all it says with regard to the cam. Maybe it's a blank that they could grind to there own specs??
sblake01 Posted October 14, 2008 Share #11 Posted October 14, 2008 (edited) Thanks everyone for the info. For the cam, are there any specification mention? How about the transmission and diff, are those zx parts? Those we're paid 800$ each at that time. This info is from the 'Datsun Competition Parts' catalog. I can't find a date on it but 1978 seems to be the newest year vehicle shown in it. No mention of the ZX but it does have the A10. According to the catalog 99996-E1029 is listed as an 'unground cam billet'. Also, your number for the strut, is it 54302-E4624 or 54302-E4621? If it's E4621, then everyone of those parts you listed are in the catalog I have. Here's the scans on the trans and diff: This is the cover: Edited October 14, 2008 by sblake01
jcote75 Posted October 14, 2008 Author Share #12 Posted October 14, 2008 WOW! Thanks for the info.Too bad those catalog are not online, I have 3 page of parts that was ordered for the car.Seem like it is a 260HP car. This is what it's mention on an evaluation appraisal.260HP was with triple Weber dcoe45 (Italy version) but I don't think I'm gonna keep these since I'm not familiar enough with carbs. This is a for a week end car. Not for racing. If I stay with my SU, would I loose a lot of HP?For your info, the motor is a L28 (don't know which one.... the vin have dissapear on the lock), E88 port and polish head with bigger valve, Racing springs, Cifford SS headers with Dual pipe, Perfomance ignition, don't know the spec of the cam. Racing oil pump, 7qt baffle oilpan, Oil cooler, ect.. The car was running on standard 94 octane gas. So don't the compression is too high for street use. Thanks for you help,Joce
