Well the good news is I got the turn signals to work!!! I am so happy! Bad news is the hazards still wont even light at all.

Problem with the signals was the Previous owner removed the console to install CD player, didnt reconnect the hazard switch!!!!! Some people....

Your hazzard flasher unit is probably bad. The turn signals circuit goes through the hazzard switch but they have their own flasher units. If the turn signals work but the hazzards don't, the hazzard switch itself is good or at least good enough to complete the circuit.

I have an intermittent problem with the hazzard lights. Sometimes when I remove the center console, they stop working for a while. Sometimes the switch itself is the problem (you need to jiggle the rocker just right), and sometimes the connector by the firewall is the problem (pins not connecting properly.)

Check the big green connector by the firewall to ensure that the pins inside are connecting or touching properly.

Do your turn signals work while you're have the intermittent problem with your hazzard lights?

Correct. The turn signals have always worked correctly while there was an intermittent problem with the hazard flashers.

okay so i'm working on a 1976 280z

its been giving me some problems and the hazard switch might be the problem when i turn of the car the floor temp and the brake light blick and noise comes from the relay and inside,when i desconect the hazard switch it stop and my battery dosent drain now if the blinking stays on nex morning on few hours the battery drains so what exacly can i do if u have an answer please i woulnd glandly appriciatte it my guages go off when i remove the hazard switch.
