where is the fuel relay located at. if anyone has a picture that will be great.

Above the ECU on the driver kick panel It has two squarish (6?) pin plugs that plug into it. The screw that holds its bracket down is real fun to remove....

Unless it's a 78 in which case it's in the relay bracket under the hood.

That's the box with the fusible links on it just in front of the battery. You have to open it up to get to the relays.

i opened it but none of the relays match with fuel relay i bought

You must have bought a 75-77 fuel injection relay. The one you need is to one with 6 terminals, to one farthest right in the picture.

For a 78 the EFI main relay looks like this:
