Posted October 21, 200816 yr comment_263963 I am getting ready to remove the fuel rail fromm my 71 to replate it. I notice that there are two plastic sleaves that the fuel line passes through. Has anybody any ideas on how to remove these little guys without destroying the fuel rail? Thanks. October 22, 200816 yr comment_264010 I'm pretty sure you don't have to remove the plastic sleaves. Since they are plastic they won't electroplate and they shouldn't be damaged during the plating process.-Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29731-fuel-rail-refinishing/#findComment-264010 Share on other sites
