Posted September 9, 200222 yr comment_15281 Well I saw my first 350Z add Sunday night (9/9/02) @~10:30PM during the show Law & Order. I did not think much of the add looks like the first one of a series to get you wondering just what kind of a car is this. It consisted of stills in silver tones. Has anyone seen anything else? How about you folks down under, UK or Europe? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2976-350z-tv-ads/ Share on other sites
September 9, 200222 yr comment_15284 I think I saw the same tv commercial. I thought it was awsome, on the basis that there aren't and Z commercials on tv beyond that. September 9, 200222 yr comment_15286 I liked the plates but they didn't show the new Z almost at all. ONly a 1.5 second shot of the Z rear end - the ugliest part in my opinion too!! September 9, 200222 yr Author comment_15295 Shortest ad I have ever seen !!!! I was a little bit let down !!!! Hoping to first see the old 240Z and flash to the new 350Z but I guess I do not work for an ad agency either !!!!!!! My feelings exactly. I really enjoyed the Cadillac ads shown with the Led Zeppelin sound track with the old and the new. But then again I think we already know they are not marking to the 40+ crowd. I find it a bit odd with that decision because my wife and I in the next 4 years are planning to purchase a small newer convertible sports car for road trips. And I do not see us alone in this attitude because our friends with kids growing up are looking for “fun†autos. But then again others are buying motor homes:sick: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/2976-350z-tv-ads/#findComment-15295 Share on other sites
September 9, 200222 yr comment_15300 You Got It The 40+ crowd are buying the new T-Birds . The PT Cruisers they could not build them fast enough the first two years!!! You think for all the hula baloo the would come out with one smashing ad campaign especially to get them back in the market not alone on top!!!!!!!!!! just my thoughts !!!!!!!! September 9, 200222 yr comment_15318 I can't believe the dealers are tacking on $15,000 ADP.It's robbery. Plain and simple. So much for sticking around 30k.I loved the commercials, I still prefer the 240 over 'em all... September 9, 200222 yr comment_15323 No sign of any adds down under, but then I'm not sure when the official Australian release date is either? May not have passed yet, but I've seen plenty of articles relating to its launch in local mags.... Unfortunatly none of the write ups are particularly thrilling, they all say it is adequately powered but understeers like a dog. Anyone seen anything different?R. September 9, 200222 yr comment_15324 The only one that I've seen was on a dealer's floor, and they said that they are not selling super fast. They received 2 and one sold right away, but the other was still there. They said that there is a lot of hype, but generally it takes a while before the sales catch on for new models. September 9, 200222 yr comment_15332 I saw an add the other day for the 350, where it showed a progression of Z cars. The first time i've seen a 240 in an add, it was pretty damn cool i thought.
