JonnyRock Posted October 26, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 26, 2008 I saw my first 2+2 Z in person this summer and I can't say that it sat right with me. I thought that it killed most of the Z's most endearing lines. After seeing a couple of really well done 2+2s on the web though, I'm beginning to accept them as fairly good looking in their own right.Case in point is a very nice Irish Z that was recently posted to the car blog www.Jalopnik.com. It's a well done blue/gray with fender flares, dished wheels and JDM mirrors.Irishman Modernizes Classic Datsun 260Z, Hoping To Start New StereotypeWhat do you guys think? d240zx2 Posted October 26, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 26, 2008 His work greatly improves the overall "look" of the 2+2, IMO. I'm still not fond of the roof-line, though, and that kills it for me. Frank
Carl Beck Posted October 26, 2008 Share #3 Posted October 26, 2008 I think it is very nicely done. I never was a big fan of the First Generation 2+2's. The following generations of the 2+2's were much better done and by the time the 90+ styling came out - it was very hard to tell the Coupe from the 2+2. If Nissan had sold the 2+2 Turbo in the US they could have increased their sales here.FWIW,Carl B.
