Nazgul280 Posted October 27, 2008 Share #1 Posted October 27, 2008 I was watching a Saturday morning car show on Speed (didn't recognize the host though) and they were talking about the different muffler products offered by Cherrybomb. They had cutouts and described the technology behind the design. On their website they have a sound link where you can hear the mufflers on a truck or Ford Mustang (no comment). They have a nice looking glasspack available, and the Turbo muffler looks like it would work nice.Has anybody here put them on their Z?
geezer Posted October 27, 2008 Share #2 Posted October 27, 2008 For some reason their site isn't available now. Couldn't hear them on a L6 anyhow. Jegs has them listed on their site. I love their product statement...Disturbing the Peace Since 1968. http://www.jegs.com/p/Cherry+Bomb/769804/10002/-

JLPurcell Posted October 29, 2008 Share #4 Posted October 29, 2008 I had a custom exhaust built for my 72 in the early 70's. It consisted of dual pipes from the stock manifold back with a Cherrybomb one each side of the drive shaft from there the exhaust ran up and over the rear suspension and came out in the normal rear valance cut, pipe over pipe. It had an ok sound when cruising but hit a rather irritating pitch upon aggressive acceleration. It did seem to improve performance but it did not sing in a pleasant note! I did disturb the peace! Zs-ondabrain Posted October 29, 2008 Share #5 Posted October 29, 2008 Before Microsoft paid for my exhaust system that is now on the 70', there was a turbo muffler made by CherryBomb. Looked like a regular muffler but said Cherrybomb on it, I was surprised because I thought they only made the tube style.Dave.
