Well I pulled the trigger and bought a 4 post lift for my Z

I have had a lift for about 8 years. I can not imagine life without it. I have two jack trays so I can get any car on 4 jack stands if I need to. Or just drive on and do anything from oil changes to clutch swaps. Makes for an extra garage space also. The drip trays save the car parked under the lifted car. In reality it should not leak but that is almost impossible to accomplish on old cars. Richard.

Marc:

Congrats on getting the lift up. As we discussed, I think this is the best deal on the market. If anyone else is looking for one, I can certianly recommend it. When I bought the price on ebay was the same so didn't have that option. What I did do was ask the sales guy what else he could give me if I bought. He threw in more drip trays and another jack tray stand which is nice because I can jack up the entire car. Anyway, ask the sales guy for some freebies if you order direct.

Price , delivered + assembled ? How high does your garage need to be for proper inside clearance ? Power supply ?

Oh , see price now .... if you have a standard roll up door I suppose that pushes the whole assembly ahead by the length of the door, past the tracks ? ...

Hi Kurt,

I paid $1799.00 on eBay as no one bid against me. The freight charge was $240.00 from Delaware to Rhode Island. You need to have the ability to remove the lift (1750 lbs) off the tailgate of a tractor trailer so you would need a fork lift. I had the lift delivered to a commercial buissness who had the equipment to unload it and deliver it to my house. My garage ceiling is 10" 6" and yes you definately need to do your measurements with the door open. I had to shift my lift and the car on the lift back to clear my door.

Good luck with you search!
