Posted November 13, 200816 yr comment_266347 Does anyone have a ball park idea of what a clutch replacement with parts and labor would run? I may need to replace mine in the near future and was looking for a rough guess. Thanks, Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29973-clutch-replacement-costs/ Share on other sites
November 13, 200816 yr comment_266354 Parts you can find easily by looking on many of the Z part suppliers:http://www.courtesyparts.com/http://www.motorsportauto.com/http://www.zcarsource.com/http://www.zspecialties.com/etcLabour is generally $75 an hour charge rate here in CA and then I would say it is about maybe 4 hours to do depending on facilities. That should give you a rough estimate and then go to local places that know Z cars and get a quote or two.CheersJC Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29973-clutch-replacement-costs/#findComment-266354 Share on other sites
November 14, 200816 yr comment_266357 I've had them out an in in 3 hours by myself an under 2 hours with help. (When the help is someone who knows how to assist on a clutch job). But then I have all the necessary tools, air ratchets, compressor, trans jack, tall jack stands, dummy input shaft, pilot bearing tool, etc. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/29973-clutch-replacement-costs/#findComment-266357 Share on other sites
