Posted November 20, 200816 yr comment_266932 Hi all, I'm looking for the little plastic blank plate(grommet) for the defroster and the parking light on a early 240z console. See photo below (cheers Chris) The grommet for the defroster (86722-E4100) The grommet for the parking light(86721-E4600) Good home awaits. November 20, 200816 yr comment_266940 I think your only hope of getting an early defroster blank is when Will reproduces them. Even with the parking light blanks, people normally only sell them with the console finisher panel. -Mike Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30034-looking-for-console-blanks/#findComment-266940 Share on other sites

November 21, 200816 yr Author comment_266969 What do you want to see Carl? Most of it remains either wrapped in plastic, in boxes/cupboards or about to put back on.But I have the panel shop due notice that the rolling shell will be back in their shop late Jan for final paint. I have delayed making restoration parts in order to get a few projects(research/locate/schedule straightening out the mess Al made out Larrys car, refreshing my 300ZX Convertible, finishing my 240Z, and getting a piece of property sold-despite numerous and serious delays allowed by a mis represented Railroad right of way among them...As of the first of next year, I will be starting the making of 240Z restoration parts that are no longer available dfrom Nissan, and )if my findings are truely representative) in most case seriously rare, and beyond difficult to find. There will be a few suprises out there when the jello sets! Will Edited November 21, 200816 yr by hls30.com Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30034-looking-for-console-blanks/#findComment-266985 Share on other sites
