In total I have around 8 datsun z cars ranging in years from 72 to 83 all tore down and shelved in my warehouse. In this auction you will get all those parts and anything else you can load up. This is everything from early 70's bumpers to cylinder heads ranging through the years, you will also be getting a freshly rebuilt L28ET turbo engine from a 81 280zx turbo. With all these parts you will get five shelving units if you wish.Just some of the parts72-78 front and rear bumpers72-78 box of Air filter boxes72-83 4 and 5 spd transmissions (3 or 4 of them)72-83 cylinder heads79-83 L28et turbo engine77-83 r200 rear differential72-78 front sub frame including rack and suspension72-78 rear subframe including swaybar and suspension72-78 roof skinshelf of ECU'sShelf of DistributorsShelf of Fuel InjectorsShelf of drive shafts and grillsShelf of headlightsRack of interior parts and drimShelf of Exterior parts and trimShelf of startersShelf of alternatorsShelf of blower motors1 280zx passenger seatNon datsun parts you will recieve if you wish2000 jaguar s-type 4.0 liter v81998 4l60e transmissionand anything else that I am probibly forgettingIf you have looked on ebay for restoration parts for your datsun z car then you know what the retail value is on all of these items so I dont need to tell you. The just of the situation is I have to be out of my building by the first of december and I do not want to put all these parts in storage when I will not have any future use for them. Their is alot more than what I have in the list so plan on bringing a UHAUL truck to get it all. The list is only the beginning. If you big please bid to win and not for fun, I have alot riding on this auction and will not appreciate any dead beat bidding. The winning bidder will have to make a 200.00 deposit within 24 hours of auction end with the rest due upon pickup. These must be picked up and removed by the 1st of december. November 24, 200816 yr comment_267332 Interesting, and somewhat helter skelter. Unless you do b.i.n., the auction ends on Nov 30 and you have until Dec 1 to pick up the stuff. I'd want to see it before I bought it. You'd need something with a lot of space to haul all that stuff. There are lots of much better ways to market this stuff. November 24, 200816 yr comment_267333 Looks like this guy procrastinated if he has to be out by Dec 1st. No doubt the value is there and could be good for someone local with the space and time to deal with it all. Here's the linkhttp://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ru=http%3A%2F%2Fshop.ebay.com%3A80%2F%3F_from%3DR40%26_trksid%3Dm38%26_nkw%3D130271235299%26_sacat%3DSee-All-Categories%26_fvi%3D1&item=130271235299&viewitem= Edited November 24, 200816 yr by geezer Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30070-going-out-of-business-sale/#findComment-267333 Share on other sites
November 25, 200816 yr comment_267339 Price doesn't appear out of line, but he has severly limited his market by being where he is. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30070-going-out-of-business-sale/#findComment-267339 Share on other sites
November 25, 200816 yr comment_267349 I met the seller earlier this year as I had seen a post of his on my local Craiglist. His shop is about 25 miles from me and he was advertising Z parts. Said he had just about anything needed for a 70-78 Z so I went up to take a look. I did buy a hatch from him for $75 that had rust pitting on the inside but it passed the screwdriver test. I figured it was better than what I had on mine and maybe I could recondition it. I looked at the bumpers, they were pretty beat up. He had several trannies but told me none had been tested, etc. He did have alot of parts up there, most looked like they had seen better days, but to my untrained eyes, $600.00 probably isnt a bad price. Pick out the decent from the junk and scrap the rest. I did notice his Ebay ad said $600 and the reserve was not met. On Craiglist, he is asking $600 or best offer. He also has a "77 listed on Craigslist for $700. I did email him about that but he said he was firm on his price. I wanted it for parts only, basically fenders and then whatever else was worthwhile to strip from it. He has been advertising both the car and parts for at least 2 weeks, maybe 3 on Craigslist. I guess he decided Ebay might be a better way to go. Here is a link to Craiglist . http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/pts/929600506.html parts link http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/cto/929592411.html car link He seemed like a decent enough guy. I'd like to have the car. I did see it there several months ago, I remember rusty doors, hatch, etc. The interior is kind of ugly with all the blue trim. Blown motor. Maybe the 5 spd tranny works, maybe not. Dont know if the dual mirrors were aftermarket, never looked that close at them. I may try to contact him again and see if he'll come down. My wife balked at the thought of a 2nd non running Z here Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30070-going-out-of-business-sale/#findComment-267349 Share on other sites
