It doesn't look like it was pulled from a lake to me. It looks like it was driven in Michigan or Indiana in the winter for about 15 years.

Pretty amazing actually. I have never seen a Fiat that would run often enough to be a daily driver...

So I googled it, and looked at the images. Some of the real nice ones look real cool. Not fast cool like a Z, but retro cool. The suicide doors are the bees knees. I bet one in great shape would go for a bundle.

The 600cc motor makes 18hp.... a modern 600cc 4 cyclinder motorcycle makes 105+ hp stock.

A guy on the Ferrari board I post to had one of these and did a sublime restoration. They are easy to work on and, along with the VW Bus, are considered one of the first "minivans". It certainly isn't a hot as a Z, but I do think it's desirable in a quirky way.

On the Fiat topic: a friend of mine years ago had a '68 124 sport coupe that he picked up to go thru and after delving into it, it became apparent that the body was just about to dissolve from the rockers all the way around the car. Had something to do with the Russian steel they used.
