December 24, 200816 yr comment_269571 I think I would just walk away...the guy has only a vague idea of what he has, and even less of an idea how to sell it.You only hide what you don't want people to know, and as a vague seller, what you don't want people to know when selling something are the things that keep it from being valuable. Will Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30159-anybody-looking-for-a-winter-project/?&page=2#findComment-269571 Share on other sites
December 24, 200816 yr comment_269579 Just to yank on his chain a little, I'd write him back and say, 'You'll get my 4 digit bid when I get the 3 digit VIN.'Bonzi Lon Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30159-anybody-looking-for-a-winter-project/?&page=2#findComment-269579 Share on other sites
December 24, 200816 yr comment_269587 Let him stick it in storage. He's right. In 10-15 years even a sketchy possible/could be 1969 car will be worth three grand to someone. So he'll get his price. In in the meantime he'll spend $100-$200 per month storing the car. But he'll get his price.
