Anyone have any opinions and or experience with these brands? Was checking online parts for an alternator and starter and came across some Bosch brands and a Kyosan fuel pump. Are these any good? Anyone know what the OEM brands are?

Bosch makes quality parts IMO. I use their stuff that is equivalent to the OEM JECS parts in my EFI cars and have had no problems. If fact, in my experience, they out last and out perform the OEM parts. Also, I believe Kyosan was one of the manufacturers that made the original Datsun mechanical fuel pumps. I have the stock fuel pump from my 320 and that's the name embossed on it-Kyosan Denki Co., LTD.

Thanks for the reply Stephen. I was surfing thru the parts at a place called Autohaus Arizona. They have alot of Z parts and specify some as OEM. Reasonably priced too. Free shipping over $50.00. Maybe after Christmas I'll look into them a little closer.

Kyosan mechanical fuel pump on mine and I got a spare just incase. No experience with Bosch for the 240z but I know they do make great parts for other vehicles I have.
