I have a converted 76 280Z and used a fuel mechanical fuel pump from a 240 that I got at the junk yard for $9.00. If you go this route get the gaskets and insulators as well. And obviously get a fuel filter for a 240. I believe you can also use a mechanical fuel pump from a 260.

Thanks Powderkeg.. I got the gasket part. What insulators are you referring to? The one that wraps on the fuel rail??

I have all the bits and pieces you need. The eccentric, insulator (between pump body and the head), the gaskets, and a used pump for that matter. PM me and we will work out the details.
