Posted December 17, 200816 yr comment_269124 im trying to get this 280 zx to run well its a 81 2+2the symptoms are.the car starts up preatty roughand it doesnt rev higher then 3000 everytime i do it just wants to diewhat can i do to fix this problem? December 17, 200816 yr comment_269125 First thing I would do is to check all the connectors, making sure they are clear of corrosion and making good contact. Also, have you done a tune up? Give some details on the car. Did you just buy it? Been sitting long? December 18, 200816 yr Author comment_269171 well the car was sitting but when i drove it, it was fine drove home perfectly fine...then it stated to run bad i did the tune up and changed the fuel filter and still runs bad...i checked all the fuel injectors connectors and everything seemed to be plugged in well.can it be an air to fuel problem?
