Posted December 27, 200816 yr comment_269713 A few years ago I bought a nephew of mine the xmods R-34 car. Every now and then I would peek in Radio Shack (the only retailer here in the states, other than online of course) to see what was new. The other day I went into the store and found the Nissan GT-R sitting there, and it was on sale so... The cool thing about the xmods stuff is that you can upgrade them. I got the higher output motor (many pinion options included for more torque/less speed, etc.) and the headlight/taillight upgrade. There is also an upgrade for all wheel drive, but that one was not in stock... Anyway, the whole setup was about $70, and took about 45 minutes to assemble. December 27, 200816 yr comment_269734 Cool! May have to get one of those. There are actually 2 GTR's I've seen in the San Mateo area. One is off-white and often I see the rear end of it as it enters the freeway ahead of me. Monments later it's out of sight... December 27, 200816 yr comment_269745 I had the pleasure of a ride in a GTR awhile back. I got the 0-100-0 demo and it was over before I knew it had begun. Wild child, it is for sure.
