Mike B Posted January 4, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 4, 2009 Congrats on bringing it home. I'll be interested in seeing some more pictures of the carpet when you get a chance. It looks a little different than what came in the 1969 production cars.-Mike

AZ-240z Posted January 4, 2009 Share #6 Posted January 4, 2009 Congratulations, Clive. I can only imagine how excited you have been getting this time capsule home.I second Mike's request for more pictures to include under-hood shots of any blackout paint forward of the radiator support such as the grill mounting brackets. Pictures of any surviving decals, of all sorts of original fasteners from hood hinges, fender ledges, door hinges, etc., would all be a terrific resource for future restorations.Detail pictures of all parts of a very unmolested early 240z are invaluable.Dan

I am going to look over the car again tomorrow for anything I might have missed. It was pretty cold out today!
Zealous Posted January 4, 2009 Share #8 Posted January 4, 2009 Yeah my suggestion would be to take as many photos as possible from as many different angles as possible and save them all up, memory is cheap. Nothing like an unmolested Z to get all on these forums excited and begging for more

EVILC Posted January 5, 2009 Author Share #10 Posted January 5, 2009 Nice find, What are your plans with it?Mike Plan is to swap a L30ET motor into it....so some of the series 1 car stuff will go for sale. I plan to save the hood and fenders due to them being early car items. I also do need one clip for the inspection lids, knowing you can't find them anymore....maybe someone can help me out I should have the motor out next week. I have plans for this cat to be at the body shop next month.

Not sure who, but someone should chime in with that info. Dan
