I'm in Redding California, own a '72 240, and I'm currently restoring it. I've owved the3 car since '96, and when I bought it it was in a state of restoration, but was in need of quite a bit of work. I sat on the car for many years, just recently had the time and the funds to get into the car, get body and paint going and general clean up of the under carriage and interior. The car is basically disassembled except for the running gear, tore out the stock exhaust and installing a header and exhaust system. Removed the carbs and intake and will be cleaning them up as much as possible, without rebuilding them. The last time the car was started was about three months ago, and it started easily enough and idled smoothly, so I'm not going to touch the carbs unless absolutely necessary. I have many pics of the restoration process and will post them when I get a chance. I'll welcome any advice and comments at any time.

Thanks,

dodger
