Posted January 14, 200916 yr comment_271117 I bought some parts for my 240Z on 11/26/08 I paid with my card for the order but when the box arrived instead of the 5 parts I paid for there were only 3. I immediately contacted AUTOPARTSWAREHOUSE.COM and told them of the shortage. I have since sent them a series of emails . Early on they did respond but nothing this far has been done. Three weeks ago I asked to be refunded the difference or send me the missing parts. I did check with the web site and they do have the parts in stock. According to the information on there site. Being we are now in Jan. '09 I decided to worn everyone. If I do receive either the parts or the cash I will post this information. January 14, 200916 yr Author comment_271130 I must add that they did contact me about 5 days after I first sent them the first email reporting the discrepancy. Telling me that they would look into it. That was after the 5th of Dec. January 14, 200916 yr comment_271134 is that the same company that is commented on here:http://www.amazon.com/Auto-Parts-Warehouse/dp/B0002XF3GG/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_topand here:http://www.ripoffreport.com/reports/0/375/RipOff0375283.htmThere are more than a few online parts places with professional looking sites that aren't on the up-and-up. I ordered shocks for my truck from one a couple years ago and they said they were in stock. Days passed and I was guaranteed that the shocks were on their way. Turns out weeks later and after multiple emails, that the shocks were discontinued and they didn't have any. Much like the above listing I'm sure they didn't stock anything and just tell everyone that the parts are all instock. I didn't learn my lesson and found a different site, used their online help to verify that they did still have two of them available. After I placed the order the confirmation had the other companys name on it. Turns out they had multiple sites with different names and layouts all going back to the same place. I went back on to the live help to have them cancel the order. They said they couldn't do it as the order was already in process at their 'warehouse' and I was going to get the shocks. A few days later I get the email saying once again that the shocks had been discontinued and my order was cancelled. The worst thing for me with places like this is that I make my living selling online and they make people hesitant to buy from legit places.
