Zedyone_kenobi Posted January 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted January 19, 2009 Car runs so well. I just need to work up the energy to pull the amp and tach to replace. I have ones still in the box that would snaz up the interior...
Jeff G 78 Posted January 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted January 19, 2009 Very nice Z!I'm bummed that my Z has to hibernate six months out of the year. We have had around four feet of snow so far this winter and it's only mid-January.
Arne Posted January 19, 2009 Share #3 Posted January 19, 2009 That's one fine looking car there, Stephen. I like the clear front turn signals on the silver car. Haven't quite accepted the clear sidemarker lenses yet though...Which is a bit funny, as I've changed to clear lenses all around our BMW (except for the rear red, of course). Zedyone_kenobi Posted January 19, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted January 19, 2009 Its funny you mention that. I have a complete set of stock lenses. I was thinking of trying all the originals on there. It gives a splash of color to an otherwise monotone look. Thanks for the compliments folks. She is still getting her refresh. Next step is motor mounts and inner rear control arm bushings. srbigbutt Posted January 19, 2009 Share #5 Posted January 19, 2009 Man love that Z. What part of Houston are you from? Can't wait to see that Z in person. Not sure about those clear side markers either by the way. And where is that front plate!! Been burned a couple times in town with no front plate. fixxor Posted January 19, 2009 Share #6 Posted January 19, 2009 Very clean. I want mine to look like that one day. I like the clear lenses.
Zedyone_kenobi Posted January 19, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted January 19, 2009 I have not found a way to mount the front plate without bending it all to heck...When I mount it, it scrapes the front air dam. I am going to have to find a way to do that eventually. I never run front plates on my cars. I have been that way for 6 years, and only have been caught once. Got a fix it ticket. I guess I will take my chances until I get it mounted.I am in the Kemah area
Cethern Posted January 24, 2009 Share #8 Posted January 24, 2009 I love that Z, When you started posting about it is just about the time when I found my 73 and the benchmark for mine but with the stripes
Zedyone_kenobi Posted January 24, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted January 24, 2009 Like any 37 year old car she has her issues, but that is part of her charm...every day a little better...one part at a time.
