Posted February 14, 200916 yr comment_274240 Hi allYesterday i was looking at the two dizzy's i have, i discovered that the one that is in the engine bay of the car have quite a bit of sideway play, witch indicate worn bushings, i also wrote down both the parts number on the dizzy's, they were not the same.Later i remembered that Arne had one up for sale, that i actually strongly adviced another member to get, i send Arne a PM asking if it still was up for sale, NOT:hurt:.Next thing was to start looking after a E12-80 and also look up the parts numbers i had wrote down, i was a bit supriced when i found out that the worn out one is a "euro" dizzy and at the same time that one have a Pertronix ignitor module build in:classic:.Now i like to restore the D606-52 "euro" model if possible. Here pops the question:Is it possible to get new bushings / bearings for my dizzy and where.Chris Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30826-distributor-question/ Share on other sites
February 14, 200916 yr comment_274243 Any good automotive machine shop should be able to install new bushing in your housing. What color are the yellow pages in Denmark? :classic: Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30826-distributor-question/#findComment-274243 Share on other sites
February 14, 200916 yr comment_274246 You can still get rebuild kits from Nissan. I have 2 E12-80's that all have a different part number on the housing. Just remember the 240 distro is smaller than the later 280 distro's. Here are some of the E12-80 PN:Nissan Replaceable Part Numbers: Breaker plate: 22136-H9501Pickup coil: 22229-Q1700Magnet: 22158-S6700Stator: 22163-Q1700 Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30826-distributor-question/#findComment-274246 Share on other sites

February 14, 200916 yr comment_274273 So I suppose that if you were to ship it somewhere out of country to have bushings put in, they'd romp you when it shipped back into the country. The moral: that thing in your pocket that feels like a hand..... is!! February 15, 200916 yr Author comment_274282 Yes, unless it is send as a gift, or inside EU, we have to pay 10% import tax and 25% sales tax, also of the shipping value, it sucks.Chris Edited February 15, 200916 yr by ChrisZ Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30826-distributor-question/#findComment-274282 Share on other sites
