Oiluj Posted February 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 15, 2009 Haven't worked on the car for a while... She sits safe & snug in the garage for now. Most of January I've been busy with family and for the last 1-1/2 weeks have been working long days and weekends as we are launching a new product. I expect to be too busy to work on the car for a few weeks more...Hopefully I'll have time to work on her again soon.
bigoak Posted February 15, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 15, 2009 A post like a Seinfeld episode.(FYI, in Canada, we just blame the winter).Looking forward to updates.
Sailor Bob Posted February 15, 2009 Share #3 Posted February 15, 2009 Ha Ha thats good... a thread about nothing. I can add to that - I haven't done a tap on mine all winter either, I have a bunch of parts and the best of intentions when I stowed her (73) in December. As Big Oak says winter is the excuse here, I am feeling guilty as s--t about it, but it's just too damn cold in that shed.

DeesZ Posted February 15, 2009 Share #5 Posted February 15, 2009 I've dressed up some parts, cam covers, etc., but not touched the car other than to charge the battery.

Travel'n Man Posted February 15, 2009 Share #7 Posted February 15, 2009 After reading this thead about doin' nothin', I felt a little guilty about taken my windshield motor and linkage out last week, cleanin' & greasen' and then letting it sit and it not back in the car.........I reinstalled the assembly this morning and now I feel a sence of accomplishment of finalizing the now working wipers. Another project completed. NOW...........I'm going to do nothing!
Oiluj Posted February 16, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted February 16, 2009 This is one tough crowd! *grin*Guess I'll have to come up with a serious topic like vintage air fresheners...BTW, I used to use one of those little green liquid bottle air freshener in my first 240. Sailor Bob Posted February 16, 2009 Share #9 Posted February 16, 2009 I used to smoke when I had the first one (70s), I wasn't too worried about the smell of it. No offence intended to those who still do smoke.
