scotts pearl Posted February 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted February 15, 2009 i am taking my z to have the exhaust replaced tommorrow... the installer said the stock replacement was a 2in pipe.. it currently has 2.5in .. can anyone tell me stock size? Carl Beck Posted February 15, 2009 Share #4 Posted February 15, 2009 OMG - I've lost a DAY!!.... and I must have missed Church also...As I recall - the OEM pipe size on the 240Z was closer to 1 5/8 inch.. like 40 or 41mm. James Salvato Posted October 21, 2009 Share #6 Posted October 21, 2009 2 and a half is what all say is the best for a nice exhaust.I run 3 inch and feel i am losing some bottom end power.Car still seems fast but some local z thugs told me i am leaving power on the table with my set up.It was a turbo car before but running su setup now.James Salvato Santa Fe New Mexico usa....
