Interesting Concept...

I left the following comments, although the last one to Mr. Markham should have been marked DO...

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Mr. Markham:

If you came to my garage I would hope you would NOT do the following:

- tell me what cars you like better than mine (the XK-E)

- accuse me of liking German cars because my grandparents came from Germany (home team?)

- tell me that the bumpers on my car are being changed by others to look better.

- tell the listeners a bunch of misinformation about the earlier cars and instead of letting me tell the listeners about my car.

- learn the difference between a Classic Car being restored, refreshed and/or modified.

Mr. Santillan:

You have a beautiful 280Z and you’ve done a great job of making it your own. Very tasteful updates and modifications that improve your enjoyment of the Z.

I think I can say it more succinctly....Mr. Markham came off like a bit of a tool. ROFL

Nice Z.

I left a comment and saw Carls come up after leaving mine.

"This is a beautiful car, but it has not been restored. Restored means only one thing-put back to as it was. This car is a wonderful "restomod."

The owner has done a beautiful job of his modifications, and the car is gorgeous, but a car with modifications is not a restoration.

This is a wonderful effort to do a very cool thing, but, please, do a little more research on the marque and model before trying to speak about it, and garner a full understanding of the terms you use so as not to dilute correct information.

the opening blurb led me to believe the owner would be talking about his car...more than the host would be.

William Stokes

Great idea, excellent start, a few suggestions for improvement."
