Greetings everyone, I'm from Kirkland, WA and I just got my 1972 240Z today!

She's been cruising around Arizona most of her life, so surface rust is all I've been able to find. Looking forward to getting to know everyone here!

-Mike

Welcome Mike it's good to have you aboard. I think you have come to the right place . You will find that there are several Z drivers in Washington. There is a Z club in Seattle, ZCCW, and one in Fort Townsend I believe. I live in the Portland area and belong to NorthWest Z. The Wa. club is coming down for a 2 day cruise up the Columbia River Gorge in April.

We are meeting them in Seattle for our annual Kart Challenge next month. So you have company.

Congrats on finding a great Z , you will be money ahead with a rust free car. Hope to see you at one of the events along the way. Canby Show in June , in Canby Or.

Welcome Mike, and congrats. Little to no rust - that's 2/3 of the battle behind you right there. And damn, when I saw your thread title, I thought for a minute maybe another Spokane guy to go along with myself and deadflo (aka Steve), but no such luck. As Gary and Mike said, there's a great contingent of very knowledgeable Z fanatics along the I-5 corridor.

So, how'd you find the car? And when will we see pictures? '

Welcome Mike nice to have another Z around. I am down in Tacoma. There are several of us Z owners in the area. I run down to Oregon a couple of times a year. Hope to get my schedule to a place this spring that I can get up to the Seattle shows and over to Port Townsend this year.

Finally took pics last weekend. I've been busy with a new home so the Z has taken a back seat to that. Anyway, here she is!

Welcome, i'm a month into my 73 and two Weeks to this club but they have all ready been helpful. I'm jealous of your less than severe rust issues as I found mine in Hawaii. Good luck with her.
