Steve Parmley Posted June 25, 2010 Share #97 Posted June 25, 2010 I wonder if this is 'that' PLN??? Probably huh? Yes, I took photos of that 510 years later when it sat on pole for an SCCA race at Sears Point.

Mike B Posted July 4, 2010 Share #99 Posted July 4, 2010 I came across this site today with a ton of vintage Z photos. It looks like a few are from members here.http://sites.google.com/site/zlalomz/imsagtuzIts can be a little difficult to navigate to all of the pictures so here are a few more direct links:http://sites.google.com/site/zlalomz/page1redohttp://sites.google.com/site/zlalomz/moreimsagtuzracinghttp://sites.google.com/site/zlalomz/imsagturacingpage3http://sites.google.com/site/steveparmleycameraguy/imsa-gt-u-datsun-z-Mike

conedodger Posted September 20, 2010 Author Share #101 Posted September 20, 2010 I think this is '50's or '60's and not Datsun but it serves as a reminder to keep your safety equipment serviceable... YIKES!!!
coop Posted October 11, 2010 Share #102 Posted October 11, 2010 That picture is from the Goodwood Revival in England from a few years ago. The guy was OK but beat up a bit. I was at Goodwood for this year's Revival and it was amazing. Those guys drive 100% in multi-million dollar equipment. In one race the drivers included Bobby Rahal, Derick Bell, Jackie Oliver, Richard Attwood(I think) amongst other greats. HS30-H Posted October 12, 2010 Share #103 Posted October 12, 2010 I was at Goodwood for this year's Revival and it was amazing. Whilst you were at the 2010 Goodwood Revival Meeting, did you venture into the 'Earls Court Motor Show' building? Kevin Bristow's works 1971 RAC Rally 240Z was on display, and my KPGC10 Skyline GT-R was next to it. Our cars were guests on the Nissan show stand:

HS30-H Posted October 12, 2010 Share #105 Posted October 12, 2010 Nice, a touch of real class.... ...Until the owners turned up and spoiled it Kevin's car got attacked by a bunch of over-enthusiastic visitors. Fingerprints all over the car. Took ages to take all their phone numbers....

conedodger Posted November 18, 2010 Author Share #108 Posted November 18, 2010 Here is a map of the original Watkins Glen Course. Just for giggles I embedded a YouTube video of a guy I know driving it in a rental car. He buries the needle at least three times. He is a decendent of Colin Chapman and has been a pro driver so 'don't try this at home - yada yada yada'
