I scanned that image about 15 years ago, but can't remember is the picture I scanned a slide, or a print. Either way, the colors have shifted a bit, and there is lint and a smudge on it.  My photo processing skills have improved quite a bit since then, and I need to find the slide, and copy it using a digital camera and a slide/negative copier, and then clean it up in Photoshop. A photo I shot at Portland International Raceway in 1985 or 1986 (been so long I don't remember),, as he was entering turn 9. Scanned from a (possibly Ektachrome) slide. So I really wasn't happy with the condition of the scan I posted, so I spent a few minutes in Photoshop fixing it up. March 14, 20178 yr comment_515363 Better. A rule of thumb regarding driver ID: blue on bottom - Paul, blue on top - Bob (who by the time this photo was taken had stopped racing) Edited March 14, 20178 yr by gnosez Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30935-lets-show-vintage-racing-pictures-ill-start/?&page=80#findComment-515363 Share on other sites

It would be fitting, since today is the running of that race. In fact it is on right now. I was surprised to see the television coverage is nearly flag to flag, but disappointed that Fox is the network covering it. Fox butchers racing coverage. March 19, 20178 yr Author comment_515821 Yes, Paul says Sebring. I got lucky on today being race day though. Young Ricky Taylor and company came from sixth on the grid to win the classic 12 hour endurance race. Two races, two wins. Will they be on top at the end of the season?
