Posted February 26, 200916 yr comment_275473 Can anyone tell me if the 28L ( 1978) eng is an interference engine ? Just wondering if I bent all the valves when the camshaft broke . February 26, 200916 yr comment_275476 Sorry to report, but I think it is. If you remove the valve cover and you can tell if any of the valves were in the down position under the portion of the cam that was no longer turning, then the valves that were down are probably bent. Hope I'm wrong...good luck! Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/30954-broken-camshaft/#findComment-275476 Share on other sites
