I took one piece of the holder strut off and "cut off" a little of plastic with a machine, (see picture, sorry my english).

We call that a "bench grinder" because they are typically bolted to a work bench and are used to grind things with a grinding wheel. I replaced one of the grinding wheels on mine with a buffing wheel for polishing up small parts.
