ok my 240 will crankrite up wen cold but dose not want to crank wen warm but runs good ne way ne ideas

Also that tube that comes out of the side of the engine will puff smoke like twice

Wen you try to start the car hot and wen you turn it you hafe to like hold the key down

And it gits faster and faster and then starts and whate is that tube for

What tube?

Out of the top of valve cover? It's a vent tube that should be connected to the air cleaner.

The tube on the block below the manifold/thermostat? That's the crankcase ventilation and should be connected to a working PCV valve on the intake manifold.

With respect to your carb question in another post: It's very possible you have the carbs mis-adjusted. It's easy to mess them up to the point where one is running rich and the other lean. In fact you can get the enegine to pretty much run on one of them.

Get a Haynes manual and go through the steps to adjust and balance the carbs. It's not that hard, but it's a step-by-step process that can easily get messed up.

i dont realy know why. But i hooket up the lines . I think the problem fixet its self. The car has bean siting sence 03. I guess i just did not give it enuf time
