May 9, 201311 yr Author comment_422933 I went for a look during my lunch break today and took some close up pics of one of the fabricated pieces sitting in position before it was welded to show how nicely it fits in there. May 9, 201311 yr comment_422987 HI,Will this cause clearance issues with wide rims / tires ?Nigel Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/31081-my-new-240k-hardtop/?&page=14#findComment-422987 Share on other sites
May 9, 201311 yr comment_422988 It shouldn't, because a large section of the tyre well has been removed and the piece added is the same level as the original well. May 10, 201311 yr Author comment_423019 The outer lip you can see in that pic was cut off once the fabricated pieces were installed so there shouldn't be any clearance issues. This is what it looks like from in the boot on the drivers side. Obviously the weld still needs to be ground back.
