Hello all-

Just wanted to say hello and introduce myself. My name is Scott and bought a 1975 280Z last year that I have been restoring for quite some time. It is a work in progress but is slowly taking shape. I have restored a few cars in the past and this one will be a restoration with small upgrades such as a 3.1 liter motor and Tokico shocks and springs, urethane bushings and so forth. I live in Charleston, SC and hope to meet some fellow Z enthuasist's.

I have a link to my cardomain site below:

Yea, the Z car bug bit me pretty good. This one has been going on two years now and a lot of time and money. Every day brings a new challange and a new learning opportunity to gather information to learn a new trick. This next week my project is a steering coupler and steering rack bushings. Every week or two I try to pick a new project and get it finalized. Everybody needs a good project to pittle with. If you have restored several cars in the past then you like projects also. I guess it is a since of accomplishment taking something that should be in salvage yard and make it into a great looking, great running, automobile, and having fun while you are doing it.

Hay there im in summerville sc. I am working og giting my z road ready. Maybey we can go to a show together. Or the one in georgia

Hey John-

Sounds good about getting together for a show. I will be going up to Myrtle Beach next weekend for that show and there is supposed to be a really nice Z there that I have been wanting to see. Let me know if you are interested.

Looks like you have a 240 from your photos. I have lots of misc spare parts from my build ( still in progress ) so if you like give me a call at 607-0058 so I can see your car. Mine is up on jack stands at the moment getting some body work on the back, but is still drivable.

Hey-

Painting it myself, I have some experience and have worked part time in a body shop learning the basics. It's not perfect but it looks good enough for me. I think once it is completed I will spray it once last time in a booth to get a perfect match on the whole car.
