Not that it matters being it's just a parts zcar but that first photo just goes to show the damage those front leather bra's can do when not removed to air dry whenever they get damp or wet :hurt: and those half dash caps :sick::sick::sick:

I agree with the half dash cap! Im going to clean it up really good because its in perfect condition and not glued down. Then just use it as a removable cover for my dash. Or sell it and get a cloth cover.

Did the 75's come with vents in the hood? I thought they didnt do that till about 77 and 78.
You're right. Started in '77, I believe. Must be a later hood, if the car is really a '75.

Yeah makes ya wonder what year it really is. If the tag is still in drivers side door jam with the build date on it, that will tell you.

Seeing the fuel rail it has we can rule out a 1978.

Put that custom aluminum bumper off the parts car on today. It looks ok. OH! All is cleaned up and put back together too!

I pulled the header off the parts car today. Its getting sent off monday to be high temp powder coated. Then it will be put on my car!
