Dude that 280 has so many mods man! You would be lucky to find one just like that, but it can be done. 240, 260, and 280s up to 78 I believe are all the same size car body just different bumpers. So really you could buy a 1970 thru 1978 and make it look like that car. Just by looking at the car I cant even tell you if its a 260 or a 280. The 240 had different side badges so its not a 240.

It's impossible to tell what year this just from this pic. It could be anything from a 71 240z through a 78 280z. Pics of the rest of the car, inside and out will help further identify it. Note that the body on 240, 260 & 280s are all roughly the same and the hoods are all "long" as you say. Only the 4 seater 260 and 280 2+2 models are any "longer" than the 2 seaters.

Not the best first post IMHO but welcome anyway.

IMO, that looks like a 73 240Z with fender flairs , front air dam, fender mount mirrors, and painted front bumper. I could be wrong about that. But I am just going off the bumper. The later you get in years of that body style the bigger the bumpers get.

I am sure one of the old pros here will step in and tell you just what it is soon enough. But I will say thats a sharp looking Z.

That is an MSA Type II airdam/bumper combo. Also can be had as a ground effects kit with side skirts and rear end skirt/rear bumper piece, this car doesn't appear to have the full kit. It also has ZG flares and fender mirrors. I think all of that stuff is available from MSA.

Depending on where you got the parts I think you could imitate the look for $500 or $600. Of course there would be some bodywork in sealing up the original holes for the mirrors, and cutting out the rear wheel wells for tire clearance. I'm assuming you would do that yourself, and you could figure on the cost of a paint job when the rest of that is done.

Exactly what bumper are you looking at? All we can see in the picture is the MSA full front clip with integtated bumper.....:finger:
