The Sydney Z Club (www.zcarclub.com.au) is organising the day which will be the club concours event. It is expected that about 30-40 cars will be on display with categories being for 240, 260, 260 2+2, 280ZX, Z31 300ZX and Z32 300ZX, with classes of Standard, Modified, Motorsport, Street machine and Unfinished Car.

One of star attractions on the day will be Simon De Groots immaculate 71 Zed from www.usq.edu.au/users/degroot/240z/default.htm as well as numerous other good examples of the marque.

Should be a fun day!!

Doco,

Yes the show is this Sunday the 29th. The Z club web site has been unchanged for some time, however we have recently acquired a member who knows about computers and it is in the process of being updated. The events section has been done along with information on the location of the club meetings. Hopefully, after this weekend we can update/add to the picture gallery and eventually keep it up and running in a timely manner.

Cheers

Well the day was a great success with 36-37 cars in attendance, from 240'z thru to 300's, a very good range of models and colours. Overall winner on the day was Simon De Groot and his immaculate 240Z also taking out his class in the 240 modified.

More pics will be posted on the Sydney Z club website in the near future.

Hey g260,

I went and had a look, was a great turnout... Spoke to a helpful bloke named Willy about joining the club which I'll do sometime in the near future...

Photo's don't do Simon's car justice, it really is a special car, that silver 260 with the RB25 was pretty nice too.

Well done to the Z club guys who organised it.
