Posted March 23, 200916 yr comment_278579 What's the best way to remove the 'Datsun' fender emblems without damaging the car's paint or breaking off any of the pegs on the emblem? Is there any way to get at the other 2 pegs behind the wheel well from behind? March 24, 200916 yr comment_278639 I've had good luck using dental floss or fine string. Fishing line would probably work, too. Just go slow, a little at a time, working from both ends and then by "threading" the string through top to bottom under the slightly raised emblem, closer to the middle and pulling "out" between the pegs. It's generally been easier than it sounds. March 24, 200916 yr comment_278641 I believe you can take out the fender divider with out taking off the fender. Then you can git to the pegs. March 24, 200916 yr comment_278661 There a little removable rubber flap in the front fender that might allow you access. Perhaps someone who's had the fenders off can verify whether this is a possibility?
