mikemerkury Posted March 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 25, 2009 I know this subject have been cover here and everywhere else before (hybridz.org zcar.com), but i cannot find a satisfactory clear and definitive answer. What is the best fit in term of clearance on a 73 with Tokico struts and 1" lowered springs :1) Rota RB-R 16x8, 4x114.3, Offset +42) Rota RB-R 16x8, 4x114.3, Offset +103) Any other Offset suggestion ? Arne Posted March 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 25, 2009 The reason you haven't seen a "clear and definitive answer" is because there isn't a clear and definitive answer. I can think of several other variables that are pertinent. For example, stock front valance, or air dam? Is rolling your fender lips acceptable? What size tires are you considering? And don't forget the fact that even if all this is defined, it is normal for production differences from car to car, so a package that works perfectly on someone else's car, may still not work on your particular car. Tire size 225/50/16 or 225/45/16. Not looking for an exact answer but just trying to figure out which wheel/tire combo will give me the nicest low profile look and the most chance of clearance.
