Posted March 28, 200915 yr comment_279055 I just received new 240z rear wheel cylinders from Nissan. One of the part numbers is 44100-N3001(supposed to be the right one) and the other part number is 44101-N3001(supposed to be the left one). The Nissan fast system told me that these are supposed to be for the right and the left wheels, but the ones I received are both for the right wheel. What is the correct part number for the left wheel cylinder? Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/31330-240z-wheel-cylinder-part-s/ Share on other sites
March 29, 200915 yr comment_279115 44100-N3001 is the Right Hand rear wheel cylinder for cars starting 10/7244101-N3001 is the Left Hand rear wheel cylinder for cars starting 10/72The earlier Part Numbers were:44100-E8700 RH44101-E8700 LHAnd before that44100-E4100 RH44101-E4100 LHIf they are both the same, and you're sure that they are both the same - it looks like someone put a wrong wheel cylinder in the box -- - It seems I've heard of that before...FWIW,Carl Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/31330-240z-wheel-cylinder-part-s/#findComment-279115 Share on other sites

"R WHEEL CYLINDER" - might mean Rear Wheel Cylinder. Normally they are listed as RH or LH for Right or Left Hand sides.FWIW,Carl B. March 29, 200915 yr comment_279173 You're right. I thought for some reason we were talking about the fronts, but R probably does mean "rear". Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/31330-240z-wheel-cylinder-part-s/#findComment-279173 Share on other sites
