I was wondering if anyone has ever put in a Ford 302 into a 240z? I currently have a 302 and I want to purchase a 240. I have not been able to find anything on this kind of swap. If you have any information and this swap I'd greatly appreciate it.

For swap info, you'd have better luck checking out hybridz.org. Most of the cars on this site are stock. They have TONS of info on engine swaps. Hope that helps.

I concur that you will get better specific advise on a V8 swap at Hybrid Z. However I believe that the Ford small block V8 is done frequently, and since the Distributor is on the front of the 302, instead of the back like a SBC, you don't have to remove the hood latch.
