overdrivex Posted April 2, 2009 Share #1 Posted April 2, 2009 looks like the original owner modified this wire. it was bundled together that all the wires that go to the alt. from looking at the FSM i thinks its just a ground. but why the heck does it split into two wires?? so should i just ground it onto the chassis? Zs-ondabrain Posted April 11, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 11, 2009 Dig deeper and find out what gauge the wire is, this will help in determining where it goes and what it does. This is for a 75 but most Alternator wiring is the same.75 280Z wiring diagram.pdf
