I recently ran my Z on a dyno. It is a 240 with a 82ZX engine , milled head with 9.5 compression. Mild but better than the 8.somthing stock. Headers and a 2 1/2'' exhaust.

I am running S Us. and a ZX ignition and a stage 2 cam. Being different dynos read differently and are only meant for a base line really. My numbers are 118 hp and 151 ft lbs. at the wheels. Right after I ran my Z there was another Z with a Robelo stroker with triple Weber's and his Hp was 156 I don't know the ft lbs. Same dyno. So 151 hp stock ..... go figure.

I was told to figure in a 30 HP loss, from the flywheel to the rear wheels.

When I had mine Dyno'd for the Forza Motorsport 2 Game on XBOX 360, my stock 2.4 liter block, E88 head w/ stage 2 cam (477/280) 6-into-1 header, dual SU's (untuned) ZX dizzy, 5-speed tranny and 2.5" exhaust had a total of 135 RWHP and 133 Ft lbs torque.

So I basically had about 165 HP at the flywheel with a few mods. But now that I have Triple Webers, Mallory Unilite Dizzy, MSD 6AL, Promaster 65kv coil and an R200 diff, that has been increased to almost 180 at the flywheel.

I have an F54 turbo block being built in Oregon that has been promised to put out over 210 HP. It'll have a 40 over bore, stage 2 cam in the N42 head that'll be ported and polished with bigger valves, rebuilt SU's with better needles and valves, 6-into-1 ceramic coated header and 2.5" exhaust. Same unilite, MSD and promaster coil. The crank and flywheel will be ballanced and the Flywheel will be lightened to about 16 lbs.

That's why this is a tough question to answer. I gave the figures from the FSM. People decide to disect and analize but there is no standard answer. You're putting this stuff on an old engine, mixing components, you're likely not an ASE certified mechanic (excuse me if you are-just making a point). There is no way anyone can give you anything but a S.W.A.G to such a question. If you believe all the claims you read, you could double your horsepower by simply bolting on the items that claim 25 extra hp, 50 extra hp, etc. I'll stick to my answer in post #2.

Just a side note, I have three build 240Z's in Forza and love how it sounds, so kudos to you! :)
