For all of you with no lives, the CHAT module is now ready for some serious Zcar chattin'.............

This new module is a lot better than our old chat room. It opens a separate window which will let you continue to browse the site at the same time. This is especially useful if you want to help each other navigate the club.

It also has a status of who's in the chat room even before you enter. So, no need for another block on the front page. Cool beans!!

Glad I'm a serious geek, because otherwise I wouldn't have stayed up until 1:20am to get this done.

Open the entrance to the chat rooms by clicking on one of our chat shortcuts (Chat Tab, WebChat from Main Menu, etc).

You will see a status page showing you a list of available chat rooms. You also have the ability to create your own chat room from here as well.

On the right side of this page, you will see a column titled Occupants. This column shows a count of members chatting as well as their names.

Caught me in there a few minutes ago didn't ya?

There are two smilies that aren't working:cry: only problem I have found in there so far. Kinda cool that you can have an audible greeting too.

Hehe.... oh yea!

Better? Couple of bugs:

the Devil Face and Frown Face smileys don't work. Also when you type in a work like "we're" it puts out "we\'re". Also it hangs up on the scrolling but I can live with that.

Is the "who's chatting" going to be back up on the main page? Just wondering.

Hi Mike,

Congratulations everything looks great. I did however like the who's in the chat room box on the Home page, not sure if the new chat software supports this.

The Shout Box was cool too.

Other then that WELL DONE on a GREAT JOB !!
