My dual exhaust build

Thanks for the feedback guys, glad you like it.

Julio, compared to the 2.25 inch system with a single resonator the car came with, it is more quied, i think that most of the noise is from the headder, but it's not that bad, when i'm at idle and neutral throttle, but when i floor it, it gets loud.

Next project is to make a video while driving the car.

2010 and i'm going to get this done, gave up on finding some tips here, so i decided to make some my self.

Got some 2.5 inch stainless cut, rolled some perforated stainless and turned a ring on my lathe, so in the weekend i'm going to test fit this.

I hope the sound will be more "hollow"

Finally i got this worked out and got the tips on, i really like the improvement of the sound, it became more hollow as i hoped for.

Enjoy.

Ansa go home :D

Chris

Not so fast buddie ;)ROFL

Believe it or not ANSA actually made a similar Twice Pipe set up similar to this also.

The guys over at Conneceticut Z Car Club.com have the only known 2 or

3 left in existance.

It's talked about alot over there especially by the 2 moderators about them

having 2 1.25 inch diameter pipes.

It's actually goning to be my next project when ever I get home :)

From what I gather it came out before the Twin Stacks did and problely only lasted

about a year or so.

All joking aside bro your set up looks NICE , it's gotta be pretty loud from

what I'm guessing. Jus wish I had my headphones :disappoin

Looks like we have some Old School Performance Parts Competition again guys LOL

Sounds great Chris!

For a while I've been thinking about building a twin system and on my first attempt, made it way to loud thanks to the exhaust place that wouldn't listen. On my second attempt, I think I got it; almost a copy of the South African works rally cars with a twin 2", 2 in 2 out center resonator and straight out the back under the tank. Looks weird but i like the sound.

I will posting my exhaust sound clip shortly since I finally got the car running. I can sum up the sound as LOUD:laugh: This thing is like race car loud, so I will be shopping for some real mufflers shortly. I might as well have run straight pipes since these glasspacks seem to do nothing to quiet down the motor. Hell-i checked to make sure the header was hooked up to the exhaust. Now this was in the garage so it might be better once the car rolls outside. I will post a video soon enough

By the way chris, I got a new netbook and i thought I had a bug stuck in my screen-nice!

Steve, i have been looking at these and i have requested a shipping price for two of them shipped to Denmark, but that ¤/%/¤&(&(%#( don't reply my request.

I think there will be room for two of them out back, mounted in a 45ish degree angle and if they dont work, not much have been wasted at that price.

I want to here my triples ;)
