Hey guys I know the rules and I have searched, :)

Well the question is how to drain SU Crabs oil?

after searching and reading FSM, what I have concluded, is the following,

I have to remove the suction chamber and the suction piston to be able to drain the oil! am I right?

or there is another easy way?

Thnx

First question I'd have is why are you wanting to do this?

But in any event I have a small plastic pipe-ette like a tiny turkey baster that I use to add fluid so it should work well for extraction as well. And that'a a tiny baster not a tiny turkey.

Or roll up a piece of paper towel tightly and stick it down the tube and let the towel soak up the offending product.

Lot of ways to do it without removing the domes.....

I have several different sized syringes (without needles), found at the drug store, I use around the shop. The smallest is 2cc, perfect for fitting into the carb top opening, and pre-measured at 2cc for putting oil back in. The larger 20cc are used for brake and clutch masters so not to run old fluid through the lines or make a mess, sucks them dry. The largest ones can be fitted with a tube, also at drug store, for topping off or filling the tranny and diff. And many other applications.

A straw also works well too. Just insert the straw to the bottom of the chamber and put your finger over the top and pull it out, the vacuum in the straw keeps the oil in the straw. Do that a couple times and soak up the rest with a good paper towel or rag. Makes filling them easy too.
