Unkle Posted April 17, 2009 Share #2 Posted April 17, 2009 Funny , sounds like something that we were discussing earlier.... but the u tube clip of the Volvo wagon smoking a Yamaha R1 is entertaining !
MikeW Posted April 17, 2009 Share #3 Posted April 17, 2009 but the u tube clip of the Volvo wagon smoking a Yamaha R1 is entertaining ! Interesting but dangerous. "Performed on enclosed road". What does that mean? They blocked traffic going in their direction? Clearly there was actual traffic on the other side of the grass median. conedodger Posted April 17, 2009 Share #4 Posted April 17, 2009 That is interesting. Online fraud is currently rampant. The common claim being "honorable ignorance". There is a case of this going on here IIRC...
26th-Z Posted April 18, 2009 Share #5 Posted April 18, 2009 Yea, but there was that "casual seller of automobiles through the internet" thing that sounds to me like the seller was more than a guy selling his vette.
LowCarbZ Posted April 18, 2009 Share #6 Posted April 18, 2009 That Volvo is "VolVette". http://www.autoblog.com/2006/11/27/the-volvette-tt-ls1-powered-740-wagon/Pretty decent swap. Notice on the Hemmings article they say the R1 is the "fastest production bike of its day in 2004". Ummm WRONG! Others including the Hayabusa.
