September 30, 200222 yr comment_16458 Before you make too many plans, you should do a search here for all the posts on rust issues and go over the chassis of the car with a fine tooth comb. If there is significant rust in the chassis, you will be wasting your time and money. You wouldn't be the first person who bought a Z only to dig into it and find out someone has patched the chassis back together to cover all the rust that has eaten away a significant amount of the uni-body. Darius may have a nice car, but way he drives on the street will only end up getting him in a lot of trouble. Then all the money for the car will end up in a lawyers pocket. September 30, 200222 yr comment_16461 Darius spent big bucks on that 240... But V8 swaps can be done pretty cheaply if you know your stuff - not sure how much help you'll get here though as most of us appreciate the car for what it was meant to be not what you can make it into... Check out www.hybridz.com for a community of Zcar engine swapping enthusiasts That said, dont forget this place - the guys here haev an amazing knowledge of the Z cars expanding to more than just the engine Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/3158-should-i-buy-this-z/#findComment-16461 Share on other sites

September 30, 200222 yr comment_16491 these people who stick the v8's or 4's (yuck) in z's must have some efect on the weight distribution of the z. AussieZ and anyone else who has done so, have you noticed a big difference in cornering, etc?
