Posted May 7, 200915 yr comment_282967 I found some headers for a 240z on craigslist. They look like they are the MSA 3-2 headers but I just want to be sure. I called the guy and he said he didn't know. I dont want to drive the 45 miles to see them to find out they are some off brand header. Here is the link to the postinghttp://denver.craigslist.org/pts/1148502577.html Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/31788-what-kind-of-headers-are-these/ Share on other sites

May 7, 200915 yr Author comment_282969 I think your right, you can tell by the triangular shaped parts at the end. I just looked in the black dragon catalog, it looks like this type of header is for a 280z, Oh well, I have heard more bad things then good things about pacesetter anyway. May 7, 200915 yr comment_282970 Which means you'd need a '77 or later round port head to use them with. Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/31788-what-kind-of-headers-are-these/#findComment-282970 Share on other sites
May 8, 200915 yr comment_283087 Since we're talking about headers, does anyone recognize this? It also came with a nice Y pipe that bolts to the flanges. I bought it from a guy cheap on CL and cleaned it up Link to comment https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/31788-what-kind-of-headers-are-these/#findComment-283087 Share on other sites

May 8, 200915 yr comment_283115 Which means you'd need a '77 or later round port head to use them with.Which also means that it is not a 240Z header, as advertised unless that 240Z has a 280Z engine. Not such a good deal if it doesn't fit...... May 12, 200915 yr comment_283470 Round or square ports? That's about all you really need to know.Sorry I went to Long Beach for the weekend (T.O.R.C Toyotafest). They have square ports. Thanks Arne! It looks like they were a good header and it really does have a thick flange.
