jthill3 Posted May 11, 2009 Author Share #13 Posted May 11, 2009 Car looks great! One question, you said in your first post that you have a 240Z center console, however the one in your photos looks like a standard 280Z console to me?I am talking about the center console with the arm rest. This one in my car has the slot where the choke used to be on the 240z. Other than that is is the same. Thanks
sblake01 Posted May 11, 2009 Share #14 Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) That is still a 280Z console. My 78 has the slot as well. It has a blanking plate where the choke lever would be. The 260/280Z console is considerably differnent from the 240Z console. 240Z: 260/280Z: Edited May 11, 2009 by sblake01

jthill3 Posted May 11, 2009 Author Share #16 Posted May 11, 2009 Interior looks really good, especially that dashboard.....Hey do those pioneers move around alot on turns in the back of the hatch? you should get a custom box made for them.....Are you going to get some nice rims on the Z?The Pioneers are screwed down to the Hatch Floor - so they don't move around. But I do want to replace them with a speaker box that covers the tail light section eventually. I have looked around for the past year on wheels that I would like but so far I can't find anything that suits me better that the stock hubs caps. But the good part is, that I have time to work on these little things and don't have to rush on anything now that it is on the road.
