It's a XM coupe, my brother wants to try and restore something "foreign".:stupid:

My first car was a red XK Falcon, 4 door. nice old car, 250 xflow, Toyota steel 5 speed, Holden 3.08 diff, on gold 13 inch hotwire

I'm thinking the XM will be an original restore, back to super pursit standards. Dave's putting the newest sedan together at the moment and I'm working on a disc barke conversion (front and back) for the sedan and trying to get my original tacho to work in the coupe (six coils is a bitch). Then we'll start chasing XM parts, It should be a much easier restore than the K's, I know you can buy almost everything new or repo......and not have to make it...

Have you tried something like this, you will have to add some more diodes

This is what I'm using for my EDIS (waste spark), to make my original 240K tacho work

found it, I tried bridging the signal between pin seven and pin 49 with a 10k resistor, but seem to have no signal out of 7. this curcuit uses the signal from all 6 coilpaks, let you know if this works!

Hey Kid K, absolutely awesome car mate, that is truly brilliant. What it cost you for the front chrome surrounds to restore?

I'd be interested in a GTR grille as well, guess I can stay up to date on here and see when you get your hands on a mould.

Great work, that'd have to be the best ever 240K coupe I've ever seen!
